INNOVATIVE FEATURES OF THE ALL NEW
988D Soldering & Desoldering Station:

• Large Digital Readout:  A slide switch below the digital display allows the operator to toggle between a Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature readout. Another slide switch allows the operator to toggle between the readout temperature and the actual tip temperature.
• DELAYED SUCTION: Pump will continue sucking for 1-2 seconds after actuator is released, clears the tubes and prevents clogging of the tip.
• ANALOG VACUUM GAUGE. Helps to diagnose suction problems with the desoldering unit.
• COMBO UNIT: Integrates the solder and desoldering functions into one, space saving, top quality system, with controls and switches for each individual unit.
• CERAMIC ELEMENT: Solder wand is our ergonomic mini-handle designed for comfort and ease of use.
• FRONT CALIBRATION PORTS: Located under the precision temperature controls for precise calibration.

Hot SMD Tweezers: The TWZ60 is an optional feature that is specially designed for SMD chips, SOT, Flat pack IC's, and surface mount electrolytic capacitors.

Hot Air Pencil The HAP 60 is an optional feature that provides a fast and efficient method to remove and/or re-flow small Surface Mount Devices.

  Zero Voltage switching and fully grounded design makes this unit safe to electro-sensitive devices.

  The pump is controlled by a finger actuated, thyristor switching circuit located on the desoldering handle.
