SMD Rework Station for rework and repair of through-hole and SMT boards.
It contains 4 modules which cover the main rework tasks. Optional Micro Hot Tweezers and Standard Hot Tweezers are available with numerous cartridges. Standard Hot tweezers can also be used for wire stripping.

Hot air for desoldering any size of SMD components. The station uses the exclusive JBC system, based on protectors-extractors (See image at bottom of page) and hot-air flow, which makes desoldering clean and quick, concentrating the heat on the IC, and protecting the rest of the circuit at the same time.
A medium-sized SMD can be desoldered in less than 20 seconds. When the IC is at desoldering temperature the extractor snaps the IC upward so fast that the leads are almost completely devoid of solder. This makes replacement of the same IC very easy if you wish.

Desoldering SMTs, through hole components and cleaning of through-hole components and pads by using the desoldering iron DR-A, which contains an independent vacuum pump.

Pick & Place vacuum pen to aid in positioning components.

Soldering of all types of components, with the swift response, power and temperature recovery of the Advanced series. You can connect the Advanced 2010, C 210, C045 or C 245 handpieces or PA-1A Microtweezers and HT-A Hot Tweezers to the AM6850.

The station is easily controllable thanks to the precise information display. All of the functions of the console AC 2600 have an integrated password that allows you to adapt maximum functions for each user.

Apart from the standard setup as shown, any of the Advanced tools can be connected to both the soldering and desoldering modules; handpieces, desoldering iron, desoldering tweezers or solder feed iron.

In doing so, tools can be combined to set up the station to suit any specific task. The only limitation is that only one desoldering iron can be connected to the station.

FOLLOW THIS PROCESS INVERTED TO RE-CONNECT THE HEATER.
This step has to be performed when the heater is cold.
1. Un-tighten screw.
2. Separate the heating element from the heater’s cable.
3. Connect the new heating element, pushing it’s extreme.
4. Insert screw to avoid air-loss which could reduce the heating element’s lifetime.
