Integrated into the tip, controlled by high sensitivity sensor. Even during
continuous operation the tip temperature remains stable with minimal heat
loss. Perfect for working with high melting point lead-free solders

heat recovery:
Compact, high output heater (150W) combined with a high sensitivity
sensor means there is almost no temperature loss during heavy load

Heat Handpiece (Patent Pending)
Completely new design thermal insulation
handpiece construction reduces heat transfer to the grip. Lowest possible
handpiece heat in its class. (Based on goot® measurement methods)
Keypad
lock function (Patent Pending)
Tamper-proof keypad lock using a password, no tools or
cards are needed.
Alarm
function (Pat. P)
When the soldering iron is left in contact with the component being
soldered past the time set, this alarm sounds. This function prevents
inexperienced operators from overheating the component, helping quality
control. |

RX-852AS starts the
soldering-time count down, when the tip temperature exceeds the set
parameter.
(2) The alarm sounds after the soldering-time preset is reached. The
display will also flash twice at this point.
(3) Lift the tip from the component being soldered when the alarm
sounds.
Calibration
function (Patent Pending)
Differences between tip thermometer temperature and displayed temperature
are easily corrected by inputting the offset value.
Sleep
Function
Automatic
switch-off when inactive for a preset period of time, preventing overheating.

CT = Sleep time setting
DIF
= Sleep start temp. range. Setting of each parameter is possible.
Sleep
Release Function (Pat. P) The sleep function is
exited by thermal fluctuation of the tip, for example, when the tip comes
into contact with the cleaner or sponge.
Shutdown
Function Automatically switches off when
inactive for a preset period of time. The shutdown function assures that the
station is turned off even if you forget to turn off the power switch. This
function can be used in conjunction with the sleep function.
