PCB’s warping, wrap and sag – Lead Free applications require high range of temperature for reworking or repair, it might be sag or warp during the process and it is particularly noticeable especially in thin PCBs such as those used in mobile applications, portable game consoles and the thin mother boards for Laptop. Jovy™ systems provide two kinds of supporters to be used with the X-Y table JV-002 which supports the PCB during the rework process; it is recommended even in leaded applications, and to protect the PCBs from damage during reworking with high temperature

Kapton Tape
Jovy Systems Kapton tape also known as Polyimide tape, heat resistant tape, high temperature masking tape is ideal for wave soldering, insulating circuit boards, high temperature powder coating. It has a high dielectric strength. Kapton tape is supplied with silicone adhesive which does not leave any residue. It can withhold temperature up to 500°F/260°C.

Gel Flux for BGA's

BGA Flux
The BGA Gel flux JV-F000 series has resin-like rheological properties. It is completely halogen-free, guaranteeing long term reliability and has extreme good solder capabilities. Jovy easily withstands lead free and normal reflow profiles and the flux medium is designed to volatilize at these temperatures. The minimal, transparent residue doesn't require cleaning. The BGA gel flux can be applied by printing, dispensing or with a brush. JV-F000 is suitable for lead free soldering.

Application:
Only a minimum of flux is needed for good soldering results. Apply a thin layer of flux gel over the soldering area. The flux doesn't have to be applied selectively and can be applied over the whole area.
