handpieces as the handpiece connects to the station through
the stand.

The stands are situated between
the tool and the control unit, which makes the Advanced systems
advantages possible. For example, one advantage is the
temperature reduction in the “sleep” mode when the tool is
put in its stand, thus obtaining an extended tip-life and avoiding
oxidation of the tip’s solder plating.
The cartridge extractor system in the stand AD-SB, enable switching cartridge models without interrupting work.
All the stands can be connected to any of the advanced
series stations except for the Singles in which the stand
is incorporated. |

 | JBC introduces different methods
for cleaning tips, designed for removal of oxidation of
residues or flux ect. With
the implementation of lead-free soldering it has become
necessary to use methods to clean tips other than with a
simple wet sponge. The wet sponge can be replaced by dry
cleaning methods like metal wool or metal brushes.
The CL9885 Tip Cleaning Stand is designed to be used
right next to the point of work.
With its weight and nonskid feet, it's
totally self-lifting. It can be used without
fastening down the stand while cleaning the tips.
